Conservation & Scientific Partners

These organizations are at the forefront of protecting Indonesia’s marine ecosystems, which contain over 76% of the world’s coral species. We support their work by contributing 5% of our net revenue to local conservation projects and engaging our guests in citizen science initiatives like Manta Ray photo-identification.

WWF Indonesia: We collaborate on marine conservation strategies and support their efforts to protect critical habitats in the Coral Triangle.
The Nature Conservancy Indonesia: We align our operations with their scientific research and support their community-based conservation programs in Raja Ampat and the Sunda-Banda Seascape.
Komodo Survival Program: A key partner in our Komodo operations, we contribute to their vital work in monitoring and protecting the Komodo dragon population and its habitat.

We work closely with Indonesian authorities like the Ministry of Tourism to ensure our operations are fully compliant and transparent. Our activities directly support the national ‘Wonderful Indonesia 2024’ tourism goals and adhere to all Marine Protected Area (MPA) regulations.

Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf): We are a fully licensed tourism operator (holding a SIUP Pariwisata) and actively support the ministry’s vision for developing high-quality, sustainable tourism.
Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP): We adhere to all regulations regarding Marine Protected Areas (MPAs), responsible fishing practices, and marine conservation.
Komodo National Park Authority (Balai Taman Nasional Komodo): We maintain a close working relationship with the park authority to ensure our visits are low-impact and contribute to the park’s management and conservation funds.
